(sigh) -aren't children just the most amazing beings?

...it just occurred to me today to wonder if there's any relation between that "ripping paper is hilarious"
and the ripping of cellophane sound when people smoke DMT?

I mean, DMT (naturally occurring in our brains) is at its peak production when we're in a state of deep dreaming, and I imagine that being a baby has got to be quite dream-like as associations are still forming in the brain/mind and all. Similarly, I know from using tryptamine mushrooms there's an early phase in the "journey" when everything starts feeling really silly and funny and I get quite giggly. I wonder if in that moment associations are breaking back down temporarily, accompanied by a sense of how utterly absurd reality is?
